In-class Language Shadow

One-on-one attention is not always possible in all academic settings. By addressing a child’s individual needs, a Language Shadow provides the support of an adult who can repeat instructions, re-word instructions, respond to all questions, provide prompts, and redirect a child’s attention using speech and language expertise.
A Language Shadow is a term we have created to describe both the general shadowing concept, as well as the language support.
